  John Denton's work has been around for some time. I first discovered it a few years ago. He does make some very insightful observations and I suspect he is a lot closer to the truth on many things eschalogical than the Society is.

  Thanks for reminding us about Mr Denton's research.

  Is there anyone here formerly of the "Annointed"?

  i'm sure this question has been asked here before, but i was wondering if someone would care to enlighten us as to the undeniable "sign" or occurence that makes folks believe that they are of the annointed class?.

  ....or am i asking too personal a question?.

  i've always been really curious as to what happens to these people to make them believe this beyond a shadow of a doubt.. apparitions?.

  Is there anything more obviously twisted and stupid than JW's all thinking that only they are "true Christians" and yet 99.9% of them don't partake!!

  Pedophile crisis expanding among JWs

  it is interesting that the pedophile scandal among jws is broadening.

  for example, you will notice recent postings that show the crisis has popped into the limelight in finland and brazil.

  it first hit the internet and papers in the u.s., then canada, europe and australia, but not is showing up in south america.

  I believe the day is coming when the Watchtower Pharisees will be hugely publicly exposed and shamed on this. They deserve everything coming to them for twisting and taking out of context relevant scriptures for their heinous two-witness rule.

  here is a run down of some special things i noticed at the district convention.. i probably took better notes now than when i used to go as a jw.. however, my notes now are mostly "stupid" things that they say on stage.

  Much thanks for this. You are indeed a good little spy.

  Here they had a soliloquy of a teen struggling with himself over whether he should turn in his friend for wrongdoing.
  He ends up turning in the friend.
  The speaker then asked all in the audience to turn in problems to the elders, asking the audience, "Will you be as faithful as that brother?"

  This is really sad to read. It's like Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia or Taliban Afghanistan. Dob your friends and family in to the SS, KGB, mullahs....elders.

  we have allways heard someones calling them selves "discreet and faithfull slave"?

  they say that jesus came in 1918 and approved them as discreet and faithful.

  many of those were not yet born then, so could jesus have approved them before their birth?

  someone had a thread about "smart people" in their congregations.

  while i readily admit there were some "good," and "kind" jws in the congregation i grew up in.

  and maybe it was the location -- my dad was asked to move there -- but for the most part it was an intellectual sahara.. yet i've noticed that on this forum there are some incredibly "smart" people.

  Why do JWs mostly go door to door in the mornings?

  he says the end is starting now in 2008 and the usa will be going down into destruction along with the other english speaking nations and also jews and islam.

  he wrote a book and says he is the prophet of god for the last days before the kingdom of god is established in the earth.
